Word alignment is a method that aligns words that have a letter correlation or meaningful correla- tion between two sentences. This study focuses on using word alignment in the translation of the Al-Quran verse. This method was developed to align the sen- tence pair data but can be used to measure the semantic correlation between verses. By using the al- gorithm back to basic word alignment developed by Sultan et al.[7] the researcher re-develops to research the alignment between verses in the Al-Quran, to find out the effect if used in the translation of the Al- Quran as the dataset. The Al-Quran dataset used will be converted into the MSR-RTE[2] dataset format by researchers, with the aim of providing new re- search results in the context of the Al-Quran word alignment. In Back to Basic Word Alignment there is a pipeline alignment that con- tains the use of a tour map sequence, the tour used in this research, align identical word, align PPDB, align word sequences, align named entities, align content words (dependency), align content words using surrounding words (text neighbor), align stop words, align PPDB Extended[7]. These features will be combined to determine the cor- relation value between two Al-Quran verses (F1 score). The best correlation value between verses that can be produced in this study was 51.02 % compared to the baseline research by Sultan et al. that is 91.7%. The correlation value be- tween verses in this study can be concluded as a sufficient value, and can still be improved by adding features, knowledge base, or using a combination of dif- ferent translators of the Al-Quran.</p> </div> </div> </div> Kurniawan Adhiethama Moch. Therefore, it is very important to understand the meaning of the Qur'an verse. The understanding is not only in the Qur'an in a single translation language but also in different translation languages. This research proposed the solutions to these problems with the analysis and implementation of Cross-Lingual Seman- tic Similarity on the translation piece of Al-Qur'an verse using Word alignment and Semantic Vector approach. The experimental result shows that the correla- tion value using combination between Word Alignment and Semantic Vector method is 0,62007 while the correlation value using Word Alignment method is 0,63231, and Semantic Vector method is 0,34841. This value was obtained by comparative value in the form of gold standard, namely the semantic similarity on the pair of translation pieces on the verses of Al-Quran in Indonesian and English based on human assessment manually. The correlation value is quite low due to the translation of Indonesian Al-Quran verses by using google trans- late feature before the semantic similarity calculation process produces many results that do not match the sentence of origin that is translated. Therefore the semantic value is much different from the gold standard.</p> </div> </div> </div> Reza Amelia Moch. Regular electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring in public community serves pre- ventive and diagnostic purposes by detecting life-threatening arrhythmias for early detection of CVDs. There are a lot of commercialized portable heart monitoring devices available in the market, but many of them have some limita- tions, such as not equipped with Internet-of-Things (IoT) technology, lack of user-friendly interface and data management system. This paper presents a home-based ECG monitoring device which consists of ECG acquisition hard- ware and Android-based mobile application integrated with Google technology and Bluetooth wireless communication. The ECG acquisition hardware will ac- quire single lead ECG signal and transmit to the Android-based mobile applica- tion via Bluetooth wireless technology to enhance the device mobility and less wiring for user convenience. The acquired ECG data is real-time displayed in mobile application and stored in a phone’s local memory for future review, whereas the data management system using Firebase Authentication and Fire- base Storage provided by Google technology allows the users and administra- tors to upload or access the data with the smartphones through online Google Cloud Platform for post-processing. Besides, the mobile application also utilize Global Positioning System (GPS) to detect current user location for immediate medical actions if there are any abnormalities detected. This home-based ECG monitoring device utilizes the embedded system with IoT technology which aims to help the public community enable frequent heart monitoring for early heart disease detection and prevention, as well as promotes applications of tele- cardiology.</p> </div> </div> </div> Voon Hueh GOH Kai Xin NG Jessica Wai Ting TEOH Jia Hui LIM Yuan Wen HAU Copyright (c) 2020 International Seminar on Information and Communication Technologies 2020-07-10 2020-07-10 1 1 30 35 Impact of Technology on Patient Care Pathway Outcome https://journal.ittelkom-sby.ac.id/isict2019/article/view/59 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>Telehealth has the potential to benefit health care and make better use of health resources. The primary purpose of this research is to employ sound generators as learning media for electrical engineering students, especially in understanding of electrical waves including its parameters. This is motivated by situation that common learning methods of waves often simply utilize function generator then display the results to the oscilloscope which may lead to unattractive learning. This paper overviews several applications of sound generators elucidated in the literature review section. An appropriate and simple architecture design is proposed by which built from a microcontroller as the main processor and some passive RC integrator circuits to convert square waves into sine waves. The algorithm deployed in the microcontroller contains pitch scenario and durations between changing pitch on four sine waves that have been generated. Meanwhile, in making of the algorithm, the ability to compose pitch sound scenarios is required to yield a good rhythm. Many applications of VR are ranging from non-immersive, semi-immersive, and full immersive types that are widely used by researchers to overcome problems in various fields. In industrial field, the most common application of VR technologies is at the planning stage and design of facilities or workplaces. By using VR, we can evaluate workplace design from the as- pects of ergonomics and work productivity. This paper gives a literature review on the current VR applications in ergonomic and productive workplace design over the past 10 years (2010-2019). The main discussions of this paper include research objects, research outputs, types of VR technologies, hardwares and softwares that are used for analysis. The result of this study shows that the ap- plication of VR is very helpful to evaluate and validate the design of workplace, before the final design is implemented in real world. This paper also discusses several ongoing questions and future challenges for researchers who are con- cerned to apply VR in industrial workplace design.</p> </div> </div> </div> Muttaqin, B. I. A. Several at- tendance systems have been proposed based on manual presence. This is a high- ly important problem. The administration requires careful follow-up, taking care of it and not being lenient. The previous systems are inefficient in term of processing time and low in accuracy. This paper aims to propose student at- tendance system using QR code based on mobile application. To ensure the stu- dent attends in the classroom, QR code contained the time information was generated and displayed at lecturer presentation. The student only needed to scan the displayed QR code using his/her android or IOS smartphone. The code was then sent to the server for attendance process. The proposed work was de- signed and implemented using Android Studio, Objective C, and UML (Unified Modelling Language). The experimental result shows that the proposed attend- ance system only needed 0.000030s to recognize a QR Codes in the server.</p> </div> </div> </div> Dewi Rahmawati Fidi Wincoko Putro Ardian Yusuf Wicaksono Arliyanti Nurdin Copyright (c) 2020 International Seminar on Information and Communication Technologies 2020-07-10 2020-07-10 1 1 83 93 Cover https://journal.ittelkom-sby.ac.id/isict2019/article/view/52 <p>Proceeding Cover</p> Editor Copyright (c) 2020 International Seminar on Information and Communication Technologies 2020-07-08 2020-07-08 1 1 Preface and Remarks https://journal.ittelkom-sby.ac.id/isict2019/article/view/53 <p>Preface and Remarks</p> Copyright (c) 2020 International Seminar on Information and Communication Technologies 2020-07-08 2020-07-08 1 1
