Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The submission has not been previously published or accepted for publication or in the process of submission in another journal.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
  • The manuscript follows the template and Author Guidelines provided by JAIIT.
  • The result of similarity check is 20% or below.
  • The content should be anchored in the previous studies and should include a minimum of 15 references throughout the document from the last five years.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission

Authors are encouraged to submit complete manuscripts. JAIIT does not republish papers that have appeared in conference proceedings unless the submission based on a conference paper contains substantial new material. However, JAIIT does publish expanded, more complete, archival-quality versions of ideas and concepts that have been presented at conferences and published in conference proceedings.

Please do not send original submissions or revisions directly to the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editors. Submissions to JAIIT are to be made electronically through JAIIT's website. The site contains instructions on how to proceed with downloading one’s submission.

Authors are required to prepare manuscripts employing the double-column style template provided by JAIIT. The length of a submitted manuscript should be 7 to 14 pages. The abstract of the submitted manuscript should be prepared according to the requirements. In particular, now a graphical is mandatory too. So, please, check at the template for manuscript to be submitted to JAIIT at the right template you find in this list of templates.

Manuscript Template

For submission, we strongly encourage authors to use Microsoft Word format to create the manuscript. The Microsoft Word template can be downloaded here.

Publishing in Open Access

To help authors gain maximum exposure for their articles, JAIIT use open access (OA) publishing with free of charge.

Review Process

Your submitted manuscript will be review process, this Journal applies the Double-Blind Review model to maintain confidentiality. The editor first checks every script that is submitted, if the article meets the focus and scope and guidelines for writing this Journal the plagiarism element is not more than 20 percent, the manuscript is continued to the reviewer to review the content and novelty of the paper, if not then the article will be returned to the author. A minimum of two reviewers will examine each paper for six weeks with the criteria for evaluating the manuscript, as stated in the Article Rating Form for Reviewers.

Beware of Multiple Submissions

JAIIT Editorial Board will not tolerate unfortunate situations when authors submit the same, or nearly identical, manuscript to more than one journal. In such cases:

  • the manuscript in question will be immediately rejected,
  • other manuscripts of the same authors/co-authors currently under review will be returned, and
  • the main author and co-authors will be prohibited from new submissions to the Journal for at least one calendar year.

Research Article

  1. The manuscript should be the result of original research, written in English, and have not been or are not in the process of publication.
  2. The manuscript must follow the format of the template provided by JAIIT in the Author Guidelines section.
  3. The writing must follow the rules stated inside the template file, downloadable in the Author Guidelines section.
  4. Manuscripts sent to the editor in the form of Indonesian or English must be accompanied by an abstract and keywords in Indonesian and English.
  5. Content writing is not the responsibility of the editor and the editor reserves the right to make changes and correct grammar every script that is loaded.
  6. Use one of the tools for reference management, eg reference management feature of Microsoft Word, Zetero, Mendeley.
  7. The manuscript is submitted through this OJS only.

Review Article

  1. The manuscript should be the result of original review, written in English, and have not been or are not in the process of publication.
  2. The manuscript must follow the format of the template provided by JAIIT in the Author Guidelines section.
